Boo to you! Disneyland Paris kicks off Halloween season on October 1

If you are heading to Disneyland Paris between the 1st of October and the 5th of November then you are in luck! The resort will be celebrating all things spooky and not-so-scary during their Halloween season.

From traditional meet and greets with the Disney Villains to an entirely new event taking place in Frontierland, let’s take a look just what is in store at Disneyland Paris this year…

Goofy’s Skeletoon Street Party

That isn’t a typo, Goofy has decided to create an interactive party in the heart of Frontierland that is full of fun and not fright. He will be dressed up in his skeleton costume and is set to get the beat pumping with his entourage. I’m pretty excited that José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles (Donald’s sidekicks from The Three Caballeros), will also be making a rare appearance at Disneyland Paris. Of course Mickey and Minnie are also set to make an appearance too. Goofy’s Skeletoon Street Party does sound like a lot of fun!

Mickey’s Halloween Tricycle Gang

Disneyland Park will play host to a new parade which will perform daily along Main Street, U.S.A. Featuring some of your favourite Disney Villains and other Disney Characters; the parade is sure to get you in the mood for Halloween. I wonder if a very famous Halloween-song might make a return. “It’s Halloween-o-ween everybody…”

Meet and greet with the Disney Villains

Strike a pose! Some of our favourite Disney Villains will be making appearances across Disneyland Paris. Here is what we know so far:

The evil witch from Snow White, The Queen of Hearts and Maleficent can be found in Fantasyland.
Jafar and Captain Hook will be roaming around the jungle that is Adventureland.
Cruella De Vil can be found striking a pose somewhere within the Walt Disney Studios Park

Halloween Atmosphere

Frontierland is set to be brimming with ghosts and pumpkins, which you could say is the ideal location for such an event.

What Else?

This is all the news which has been released thus far for Disneyland Paris’ Halloween Season. But stay tuned as there may be more news in the pipeline. Don’t forget that the resort is currently celebrating it’s 25th Anniversary, so you can catch fan-favourites such as Disney Stars on Parade and Disney Illuminations! daily inside Disneyland Park.

If you are visiting Disneyland Paris on All Hallows Eve itself, Disney’s Halloween Party will be taking place inside Disneyland Park from 20:30. A separate ticket is required for this exclusive event which will feature live entertainment, shows and a couple of surprises along the way. Tickets cost £38 per person and are extremely limited, so make sure you book in advance.

Thoughts

It has been quite a few years since I visited Disneyland Paris for Halloween. I might be able to squeeze in a very short trip, but only time shall tell. Will you be visiting? Let me know in the comments field.
