United debut new “Safety is Global” in-flight safety video
Within the past hour, United Airlines have released their newest in-flight safety video.
Dubbed “Safety is Global III“, the video is the third instalment in United’s spin on the all-important safety demonstration which takes the audience on a whistle-stop tour of some of the fantastic global destinations served by the American carrier. From the world famous Carnival in Rio De Janeiro to Oktoberfest in Munich, the video showcases several memorable and dream-worthy events which take place around the world. Let’s take a look!
Safety is Global III
As with all in-flight safety videos nowadays, airlines are continuously thinking of new ways to ensure passengers remain engaged whilst conveying the all-important safety information. Recent months has seen carriers such as British Airways and Air New Zealand unveil new safety videos, so it is great to see airlines like United doing the same thing.
What I like about it
I love the various aircraft mock-ups used which are themed to various destinations, plus the stunning imagery where thousands of Chinese lanterns floating into the night sky in Chengdu is simply beautiful. It somewhat reminds me of scenes from Disney’s “Tangled”.
I am also a fan of United choosing to showcase some of annual events which take place in destinations around their global network; many which might actually be on the bucket-list of travellers. I wonder which airline could take you there… 😉
Final Thoughts
One line that stuck in my mind is when one of the flight attendants reminds the audience that United are in the business of connecting people all over the world.
This is what airlines do on a daily basis. Air travel has enabled millions of people to explore the world, visit their long-lost relatives who may live 9,000 miles away and to bring everyone closer together.
