Photo of the week: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Today’s photo of the week is of the majestic lobby found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge; a deluxe hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge opened in 2001, three years after the nearby Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park opened. The resort is extremely popular as it offers guests the unrivalled experience to get up-close to wildlife as though you are in the midst of an African savanna.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When entering the resort for the first time, you can’t help but appreciate the pure grandeur of the lobby; which is adorned in rich woods, carvings and spectacular light fixtures. It really transports you into a different environment, something which Disney is renowned for being very good at.
