Celebrate Mickey Mouse’s Birthday This November
On November 18 1928, Mickey Mouse made his debut in “Steamboat Willie”. In celebration of his upcoming birthday, the world famous character will be embarking on an exciting tour, along with special events taking place at Disney Parks across the world.

A grand adventure
Mickey is set to surprise some of his biggest fans in Canada, China, Chile, England, Japan and the United States – all of which will be captured and shared on the Disney’s Mickey Mouse Facebook and Instagram pages. Everyone can join in the fun with the #HappyBirthdayMickey hashtag.

Between November 16-23 Disney will be offering special merchandise in celebration of Mickey’s birthday. Additionally, Disney Store locations in the USA will be hosting celebrations throughout the day with entertainment and activities.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts
On November 18 (the big day), Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Disney Stores in the US will be distributing complimentary “Happy Birthday, Mickey!” buttons. Disneyland Park in Anaheim will be hosting a special calvacade featuring some of Mickey’s pals. I was at the resort during last years celebrations and it was a lot of fun. The Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World will host the Move It! Shake It, Dance and Play It street party with a special celebration-themed song for the occasion. You’ll also find commemorative merchandise, treats and photo opportunities at both resorts. Outside of the US, Disney’s International resorts will also be celebrating Mickey’s Birthday.
It certainly looks as though Disney is gearing up to hold a grand celebration for Mickey Mouse. Will you be celebrating too? I was due to be in Anaheim then, however due to a change in my work schedule I shall have to celebrate from work instead!
