Delta launches Heathrow to Salt Lake City service
On the 24th of April, Delta Air Lines will officially launch its new nonstop flight between London Heathrow and Salt Lake City; which operates daily throughout the summer and up to four times a week during the Winter schedule.
Operated in conjunction with Virgin Atlantic; Salt Lake City is Delta's eighth non-stop destination from London and is operated by a Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
The route also provides the only direct link between London and the state capital of Utah; which is fantastic news for both business and leisure travellers; and those wishing to connect onto other destinations. It will also provide a boost in tourism to both destinations.
Departing from London in the early afternoon and arriving into Utah's state capital in time for dinner, whilst the return flight departs in the evening and arrives back into London just after lunchtime; making both convenient options for passengers travelling on both business and leisure. Specific timings can be found below:
DL51 departs London at 13:40 and arrives into Salt Lake City at 17:39.
DL50 departs Salt Lake City at 19:56 and arrives into London at 13:00 the following day.

From Delta's hub in Salt Lake City, passengers are able to connect to more than 50 "one-stop" cities including Albuquerque, Reno and Idaho Falls to name a few.
